This is a review for the interactive children’s book Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree!. I received a copy of in exchange for this review and a spot in our Easter Gift Guide.
I’ve never had a book that stands up to make a tree but Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree! does showing off the Hummingbirds and the pretty pink Flowers you will want to pick for your home. They say Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree! is for children from the ages of two to four. I shared the book with my niece Payton who is 9 and she loved punching out the Hummingbirds and making them fly.
Payton also shared Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree! with my niece Daisy who is three. Daisy was able to sit still for the whole story to be read to her by Charlie. Then Charlie showed Daisy how to fly the Hummingbirds. Daisy let Charlie help her fly the Hummingbirds. Charlie had fun examining words he wasn’t sure about and looking them up online to explain to the girls what words like nectar meant.
Once they finished Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree! the girls wanted to go outside to look for Hummingbirds. They added food to the Bird Feeders their grandmother has hanging up. While outside Charlie showed Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree! to his grandmother Sherry who enjoyed the Story.
Sherry helped Charlie compose a lesson on Hummingbirds for him to study in our Homeschool Classes. If you or someone you know loves Birds, I hope you take the time to share Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree! with them. If you’re looking for a Easter Gift for the children on your list Hello Hummingbirds: Read and play in the tree! would be a perfect Gift for them. Before you say but this children’s book is for children between two and four adults would also enjoy this story and seeing the blue ribbon with the Hummingbirds on it.
Charlie used the Hummingbirds to trace for his Homeschool Art Class when we were studying Birds. For a Field Trip Charlie and I visited a nursery to see what Flowers Hummingbirds like. Then we planted the Flowers in Charlie’s grandmother’s yard. Along with some of the flowers outside in front of our Apartment. I can’t wait to see if Hummingbirds actually stop here. I would like to ask you a question. Would you like to sit outside with me and watch for the Hummingbirds?
