Good morning, I wanted to share the blog tour featuring Woodencloak which runs March 13-17, 2023. I was sent a copy of the book in exchange for this review. and joining in the tour hosted by Just Read Publicity Tours.
I enjoyed reading Woodencloak and the Princess in this book. The Princess did things that would make me go huh. But then things would work out. The more I read Woodencloak the more I would hear myself saying David would like this story because of the Princess and the Eagle. As well as Charlie because Woodencloak reminds me of books, I used to see Charlie read in middle school. Which is why I added Woodencloak to Charlie’s Spring Break reading list. As a family once David and Charlie finish the story, we will be able to discuss what they read brining us closer together.
Once you begin reading Woodencloak you will not want to put the book down and if you’re like me before you know it you’ve finished the book and you will find yourself adding it to your library to read again in the future. If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out Woodencloak I hope you do as soon as possible.
Welcome to the Blog Tour for Woodencloak by Dawn Ford, hosted by JustRead Publicity Tours!
About the Book
Title: WoodencloakThirteen-year-old troll princess Horra Fyd’s life changes forever after an unexpected visit from the fairy queen and her two daughters. Tales of fairies gave Horra nightmares as a young troll. Before evening falls, however, a real nightmare unfolds. Horra’s father, King Fyd, goes missing. Her woodgoblin instructor is poisoned and uses his magic to revert to a seed. And a mysterious, gaunt man wearing a cape and playing a panflute joins the fairies in trying to capture her.
Horra flees but is instantly lost in a world she’s never had to travel alone. A letter hidden in her knapsack from her late instructor informs her that a power hungry Erlking seeks revenge against her kingdom and their allies for a two-generation old war. She is tasked with getting his seed to the Weald, a magical forest. There it can regenerate into a druid, the only creature with the power to hold the balance between good and evil, and who is able to defeat the Erlking.PURCHASE LINKS: Goodreads | Amazon | Barnes and Noble | BookDepository | IndieBound | BookBub
