Even though February has passed it is never to late to learn about the Heart. And since Charlie and I wasn’t able to study it like I thought we would last month we are learning about it this month. And we are using Homeschool Resources brought to us by Evan-Moor Educational Publishers.
So I wanted to share with you the sites we are using at Bones Academy and to see if you would like to check them out as well. Or did you study Hearts in February and if so what did you study? And was there websites you used and if so Please share them with us.
February is American Heart Month. This week, we’ve selected learning activities emphasizing a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Grades PreK–K: Taking Care of My Body
This reproducible book is for children to color, cut out, and take home, and includes an activity to show whether an action is healthy or not.
Grades 1–3: The Heart Pumps Blood
This unit includes information on the circulation system, directions for conducting experiments and activities, and a minibook.
Grades 4–6: The Heart and Lungs Work Together
This unit about the human body encourages students to conduct three experiments on how the heart and lungs work together.
