Unique Holidays: May 6th, 2021

The Mommies Reviews

Welcome, back to our series sharing Unique Holidays: May 6th, 2021. Take a look at all of the Holidays we can celebrate this morning and leave me a comment letting me know which one you would most like to celebrate and why.

Beverage Day

Beverage Day is a chance to kick back with your favorite beverage. Enjoy the day. The term “beverage” is broadly defined. Were talking about celebrating all beverages today.

Beverage Day should be a day of pleasure and relaxation. Grab a bottle, can, a glass, or  a six-pack of your favorite beverage then sit down in a comfortable chair….. indoors or out. Slowly sip and savor your favorite beverage.

BE BOLD! Take advantage of Beverage Day to try a beverage that you’ve never had before. Man oh, man today were not feeling well it would be fun to go out to dinner for a early #Mothers Day Dinner and try a new beverage.

National Tourist Appreciation Day

If your a tourist today, expect to be pampered. But, wait a minute, as a tourist, you should be pampered every day, period.

Vacations are too infrequent, and too far in between when you go away on Vacation, you spend good, hard earned money, and you expect and deserve to be treated well. You’ve earned (and are paying for) the right to be coddled, pampered and attended to.

You can, and should expect hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other tourist venues to do. If the tourist spots don’t know about the holiday, let them know in advance.

Then, plan your Vacation to coincide with today’s holiday. When you book your reservations, say something like “I’d like to make a reservation on National Tourist Appreciation Day, for……..”. They will get the picture.

If you are a tourist who just can’t get enough appreciation, National Tourism Day is just a couple weeks away.

No Diet Day

International No Diet Day - Healthy Lifestyle - Nutrition By R.D.

International No Diet Day encourages us to appreciate the bodies we have. You could consider it a “Big” backlash against becoming little (err thin) people.

This day is intended for us to appreciate the body we have. It encourages us to recognize that people come in all shapes and sizes……. and that’s okay.

Which is okay but its not okay with me because my weight is affecting my Health and I know I am obese and climbing towards 300 pounds which I refuse to happen.

But being sick this month there was no, way I could work out the way I needed to. Instead of stressing and getting upset I let David know I was taking not only a day off from DIETING but the entire month.. I will resume in June LORD willing.

Anti-diet groups exist to assist and support people who suffer illnesses like Anorexia, in their efforts to shed fat and be thin. In addition to Anorexia, other Medical problems can result from taking Diet Pills, and Surgeries, such as Stomach Stapling, to control Weight.

International No Diet Day is a good opportunity to re-assess and evaluate your weight management goals and perspective, and to make certain your efforts to be thin don’t come at a risk to your health. If you decide that continuing your diet is right for you, then use today to take a one day break.

“You’re body is your temple.” In your efforts to make your temple a thin one, do so in a safe and healthy manner. Don’t Starve yourself or do Crash Diets which can cause more harm than good.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
