Music is a key part in our Homeschooling Curriculum and this week Charlie will be learning about Ray Charles and I thought I would share a Unit Study/ Lesson Plan I found on Ray Charles.
Ray Charles Robinson (September 23, 1930 – June 10, 2004) an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. He was referred to as “Brother Ray” or “The Genius.Charles was blinded during childhood due to Glaucoma.
Inside the Lesson your students will be able to study:
The Genius: Learn about how Ray Charles would play the Piano while being Blind.
Come learn about all the different styles of Music Ray Charles could play.
Come learn about Ray Charlie and what all he did in his lifetime.
