Did you know that as a child The Great Game Classic Sorry was my favorite Board Game to play? If my friends or family wanted to play to Board Game they would usually chose Monopoly which was OK. But as soon as we finished I would grab Sorry and say now its my turn to play what I want to play.
Everyone knew sooner or later we would end up playing Sorry. I’m so glad we did because we had so much fun playing this game and today I’m proud to announce that inside this year’s #HGG is Winning Moves Classic Sorry.
When Suzzane became old enough to play Board Games Sorry was the 1st game I purchased for her. Suzzy came to love Sorry as much as I did. We played Sorry quite a few times and we would still be playing if she hadn’t passed away.
Once Charlie arrived I knew I would have to teach him to play Sorry as soon as he was old enough. But Charlies like to be outside more than sitting inside playing Board Games.
That is because Charlie has ADHD and focusing and sitting still is hard for Charlie. But Charlie’s counselor says we need to play more Board Game with Charlie to build his focus.
I’m excited to announce Winning Moves sent me several board games including Classic Sorry for Charlie for Christmas. Not only that but know we gave a set of Board Games away to one lucky winner.
I hope the winner enjoys playing Sorry as much as Charlie and I have. We’ve played Sorry a couple of times by ourselves. Then once or twice David and my sister played with us.
Today I would like to share with you my 5 Top Reasons you should pick up Sorry for your children. Especially if they suffer from ADHD like both of my children did. Or if they have trouble reading like David does.
- Sorry teaches you to sit still and focus.
- Playing Sorry will help children learn there colors.
- Sorry helps with reading
- 4 It teaches taking turns
- Sorry also teaches patience because you have to wait for your turn
Have you played Sorry before? If you have what did you learn from it? Was Sorry something you could teachers others? Did you take the time to share what you learned with anyone? Or did the people you were playing with teach you something? If so what did they teach you? What did you think about what they taught you?
