This is a review for Coloring Books by Ellie Marks. The creator sent me both of her coloring books to share my thoughts on. The thoughts in this post are mine and my families no, else.
Please say hello to Ellie Marks, a California-based author of whimsical coloring books for adults. Coloring books for grown-ups are a great, creative, and family-friendly way to spend time while sheltering-in-place at home.
Charlie and I have been coloring she he was little bitty and we still do. In fact I always pick up new coloring books for Charlie when in the store as we can use coloring books for Homeschooling Art Class.
Even though I love Disney and don’t mind coloring in children’s coloring books Charlie has evolved and prefers adults coloring books and using the pages he colors to make pictures for our family.
This is why I was excited to work with Ellie Marks. As soon as the coloring books arrived I sat down to thumb through them and feel in love with the cover which can be colored.
I love how the books are bound with wire as the pages will not tear like other coloring books i have published. Charlie likes the background as it’s black.
The title on the front cover of the book pops and I like the font they picked out. Inside is a page were we can write our name so everyone know it’s our coloring book if we leave it somewhere.
In the back of the coloring book are pages to test your coloring. I haven’t ever sen [ages like this and Charlie and I can’t wait to use them. The paper is thicker than other coloring books and the colors will not bleed through if you use Markers.
If you were studying fashion in school or taking sewing Age of Elegance would be a nice addition to the supplies you purchase for class. Incljudsing Homeschool.

Ellie Marks is a mom of 2 small children and I’ve been coloring at home almost daily. Since the beginning of SIP, I have seen a spike in demand for my coloring books, many of which are meant to be gifts for family members.
Coloring is also a way for people to connect as they share their finished coloring work on social media, as well as trade tips and tricks. In a world filled with stress and division, I have found these communities to be very supportive and understanding.

Age of Elegance is my favorite coloring book by Ellie Marks because its full of ladies in elegant dresses. I wish my Uncle Chuck and Suzzane were here because both of them would love coloring with me in Age of Elegance.
Above is my favorite picture from Age of Elegance. I love the Bonnet the lady has on. I now Suzzie would have loved the horse in the picture in the back. Charlie and I will be able to use Age of Elegance in so many of our studies this year. I can’t wait for school to begin.

The second coloring book from Ellie Marks was Zodiac: Coloring Book and 2019 Astrological Calendar. This will allow Charlie to learn more about Zodiac signs leading to new Homeschooling lessons.
Charlie and I can look up our families Birthday in the Zodiac: Coloring Book and 2019 Astrological Calendar. We can study our signs and color our signs. Once we finish coloring the pages we can take the page out of the book to make a family album for Charlie. Which Charlie can hand down to his children when he is older and married.
