5 Ways to Use Your Coffee Creamer Differently

Coffee creamers give things a nice rich flavor. Not just that, but creamers are easily available and tend to be inexpensive.

If you are not a coffee lover, you should be happy to know that there are numerous other ways to use coffee creamers.

Here are some suggestions

1. Take with Hot Chocolate

That’s right. Coffee isn’t the only beverage you use coffee creamer with. Creamers can flavor hot chocolate just as well as it does coffee. Make your hot chocolate as you normally should, then add a dash of the creamer. People trying to lose weight can try fat-free coffee creamer options.

2. Mix with Hot Cereal

If you love a good bowl of cereal in the morning, flavored or regular coffee creamers can easily be mixed in with the cereal. The most popular options for this include granola, oatmeal, cream of wheat, and malt-o-meal.

To make this, add slightly less water or milk than you ordinarily would. This means the creamer substitutes the liquid.

Milder flavored creamers like vanilla can be used in a wider variety of cereals as they will not overpower their taste.

3. For Waffles and Pancakes

You can give your waffles and pancakes an extra kick by adding in some creamer. To do this, add a few tablespoons of creamer to your waffle or pancake batter. Use this in place of milk or water as required in the recipe.

After mixing, press the waffles or cook your pancakes as usual. A flavored creamer like vanilla, mocha, cinnamon, or buttercream will turn your pancakes into a whole new culinary experience. The smell in your kitchen will be to die for as well.

4. Creamer and Fruit

You probably know you can eat your fruit with nuts, raisins, and even yogurt. However, you might not know that you can eat fruit with creamer as well.

Cut your fruit into bite-sized chunks before soaking them or drizzling them with a flavored creamer. Think wisely about your choice of creamer, however. A chocolate mocha, for one, can be an odd pairing to have with fruit.

Still, explore and experiment to find your favorite combinations.

5. Cook with Creamy Soups

You can add creamer to soup to stretch it a bit further and to alter the flavor. Unflavored coffee creamer works well with this, as flavored options might be a bit overpowering for most soups.

Creamers work best with creamy soups like mushrooms, cheese, potato, and broccoli. For the best results, add half a cup or a full cup of creamer to the soup towards the end of cooking. Whisk it constantly as you do this to get a nice, smooth, thick consistency.
