Independence Day Writing Prompts (36 Cards)
A creative way to engage students to have fun with writing. These cards with prompts could also easily be used as Writing Centers. They are perfect for middle school and high school. It is also possible to use them with adults to practice their writing skills during Independence Day celebration.
The resource contains 36 cards in color and black and white versions. Just print, cut and laminate. I propose 3 variants of using:
- as writing activity (paragraph practice, creative writing, journal writing, etc.);
- as speaking activity (perfect for EFL / ESL lessons) in a pair or small group;
- as the basis for debates.

Track 4: What Happened to the 56 Men Who Signed the Declaration (letter) to the king saying that we wanted to be free? It is a terrible but true story! The entire family will want to learn about this time in American history, and will want to have honor in their hearts for those people who forged the way to freedom for our country.
