We are sharing 3 Parent Fails today. I would like to ask you what your most significant parent fails would be? Then I would like to share with you my parents biggest fail.
They used to leave for work before we left for school and no, one told me I was supposed to take my little sister to school that day. I got dressed and went to school.
A couple of hours later my little sister went to our neighbors and let them know we left her at home. They called my parents, and my dad had to come home and get her to take her to school.
I didn’t get into trouble, but they weren’t happy with me. My parents let me know in no, uncertain terms it better not happen again as I was responsible for my sister from the time they left the house in the morning till they returned at night. Even though my sister was only four, she remembers us leaving her at home and will not let me live it down.
3 Parent Fails
Lesson #1:
Always make sure that you have everything you need before leaving home. Including any kids, your supposed to be taking with you. Make sure and get them up extra early so you do not have to fight to get them out of the house on time which can and will cause you to be late.
Lesson #2: Count your kids before leaving the house.
Lesson #3: Do I even need to say it? Always supervise children when coloring with markers!!!
