150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes

The Mommies Reviews

A post for a new Cookbook called 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory Written By Marilyn Haugen & Jennifer Mackenzie

When Charlie was little he was just like his sister SUZZANE and he loved PANCAKES and would eat them day in and day out. I always had to make sure we had Pancakes in the house because when Charlie wouldn’t eat anything else he would eat Pancakes. Since David likes them as well I always kept a mix in the cabinet because sometimes I would eat Pancakes as well.

Which I got from being a child because on Sunday’s my dad would get up and prepare breakfast for everyone in our family. We knew my dad would prepare either Pancakes or Waffles. Sometimes my dad would make eggs for us. Or if I was really lucky I could get my dad to make French Toast for me.

Fast forward and Charlie  is 11 has changed now he will not eat Pancakes he prefers Waffles and would eat them more often if we prepared Waffles at home. I need to purchase a Waffle Maker for Charlie for Christmas. This way we can try different recipes and Syrups and not have to go to a restaurant.

Today I am excited to share a new cookbook with you called 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory which I plan on giving to Charlie for Christmas. Unless Charlie’s sister Leslie sees 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory I know she would like the cookbook as much as Charlie and David will. Or my mother in law Sherry who makes Breakfast for my father in law every morning.

I love how inside 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory they included both sweet and savory recipes. I never thought a Waffle could be savory. Did you think they could? If so have you had a savory waffle and what did you think of  them? Have you had a sweet waffle and what did you think of it? Also what is your favorite waffle and why?

Inside 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory are recipes for the following buttermilk our favorite, cornmeal, multigrain, and buckwheat waffles which I had heard of but never tried out. Also inside 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory you will find breakfasts, sandwiches, pizzas, main dishes, snacks and even yummy desserts which I can’t wait to try out.

I loved seeing them include Waffle basics in 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory as this will allow me to make perfect waffles for my family as well as my friends. 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory tells us what type of utensils we might need as well as Pantry Staples we will use when creating the recipes inside this new cookbook.

Now home cooks can enjoy scrumptious restaurant-quality sweet and savory waffles.

To say that waffles are enjoying a moment is an understatement. The Waffle House sells 145 waffles per minute – 877 million waffles and counting since they opened – and almost 10 percent of North Americans eat waffles at least once a week. But the really hot trend in waffles is taking the experience beyond breakfast to create savory sandwich-style meals for lunch, dinner and beyond. If the lineups outside waffles-only restaurants are any indication, waffles are here to stay in a big way.

As bestselling authors and highly respected recipe developers, Marilyn and Jennifer have created 150 delightfully delicious and inspired waffle recipes, from the classics and delectable breakfast and brunch options to snacks and light bites, grab-and-go burgers and sandwiches, main dishes for one or two, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free waffles, and tantalizing desserts and treats.

Breakfast dishes such as hearty Huevos Rancheros with Cornmeal Waffles or the indulgent Pumpkin Spice Waffles with Coconut Cream are guaranteed to get anyone’s day off to a perfect start, but if you’re ready to take it up a notch, try innovative options like Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas, Black Bean Burgers with Creamy Avocado or a Club Wafflewich – a club sandwich taken to all-new heights.

Throughout 150 Best Waffle Maker Recipes: From Sweet to Savory, Marilyn and Jennifer offer up ingenious tips and techniques that will have you making waffles like a pro in the same time it would take you to go out to a restaurant!
