. How are you this morning? I thought I would share a new children’s book which would have made a nice addition to our Back-To- School Gift Guide or our Christmas Gift Guide 23: 100 Things To Know About the Unknown which is a Usborne Book. Written by Jerome Martin, Alice , & Micaela Tapsell: Illustrated by Federico Mariani, Shaw Nielsen, Dominique Byron and Geraldine Sy. I hope you take the time to check out 100 Things To Know About The Unknown.
First things first 100 Things to Know About the Unknown is for children 8+. With Charlie homeschooling High School you might be surprised to hear we used this book in our studies but there is so many facts we didn’t know that the novel made studying Science so much more fun. Als, Charlie enjoyed the illustrations which he recreated in his Art Class.
Charlie and I enjoyed how the author explained the unknown to us. When we study Planets in our Science Class Charlie will be able to share ” how all the planets spin”. in our animal studies we can study Snails and ” research the most confusing Snail” thanks to this novel. Charlie can learn about another David which isn’t his dad.
We can also study “Easter Island’s statues walked” in. Then we can move on to Egypt and “The Case of the Mummy King.” My favorite part of the book was “Unicorns are real”. I used to collect Unicorns and Pegasus. Did you know my nice Lily is like me and would like to have a Unicorn of our own.
I could go on and on sharing facts Charlie and I can’t wait to check out in the book that will be added to our Homeschool studies. Instead I think you should pick up your own copy of 100 Things To Know About the Unknown which isn’t just a school book but a wonderful book to read to children any time of day or night. Don’t forget adults can learn through this book as well if they take the time to sit down and read the book.
Here is a fun fact for you 100 Things To Know About the Unknown is part of a series of books. They are 100 Things To Know About Food I know Charlie would like. 100 Things To Know About Space, 100 Things To Know About Numbers Computers & Coding which we can also use in Homeschooling.
100 Things To Know About Saving The Planet, 100 Things To Know About The Human Body, 100 Things To know About Science, 100 Things To Know About Music, 100 Things To Know About The Human Body, 100 Things To Know About Science, 100 Things To Know About Planet Earth, 100 Things To Know About History, and 100 Things To Know About Oceans.
About the Book:
Scientists and historians have discovered a lot about our past, our future and how the world works, but SO MUCH remains unknown. What is dark matter? How fast could a T. rex run? How did Mary Queen of Scots keep her dying wishes secret from her enemies? This exciting book explores the edges of human knowledge and the vast world of science just waiting to be uncovered.
